In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, empowering both educators and learners requires more than just access to technology; it demands intentional frameworks and innovative strategies that connect teacher growth with student impact. This session explores how AI integration and international learning frameworks, such as the ISTE Standards, the Design Thinking cycle, and others, can serve as bridges between professional development and meaningful learning experiences in the primary classroom.
Drawing from my own practice in an IB PYP setting, I share how I implemented co-learning models with primary students to explore and experiment with AI. We will explore how tracking frameworks can document and scale both educator and learner progress. This session highlights the transformative potential of bridging AI with frameworks to create inclusive, agency-driven environments where teacher reflection and student empowerment go hand in hand.
You’ll leave with key strategies, tools, and templates to implement in your own context; and a refreshed mindset on what it means to teach beyond boundaries in an AI-enhanced world.
